This classic Okavango Delta water camp is set on a secluded island deep in the magical Okavango Delta, surrounded by floodplains and papyrus swamps. There are just 5 guest tents, including a family unit, at intimate Jacana Camp, all built on stilts to best appreciate views of the stunning landscape around the site.
The communal dining area is set between two magnificent fig trees, with the option for guests to enjoy meals under the vast African skies. There is also an inviting plunge pool and furnished sundeck for warm afternoons, while a lounge with a fire pit provides a cosy setting to curl up on cool evenings.
Things to do at Jacana Camp include boat cruises, mokoro (dugout canoe) trips, catch-and-release fishing and game drives (in the summer months). It’s also possible to embark on exciting guided walks; however, this activity is seasonal and must be pre-booked.
