Linyanti Bush Camp
Linyanti Bush Camp offers a perfect setting for an authentic African safari at the edge of Botswana’s Linyanti marshes, whose waters sustain a huge variety of game and birdlife.
With the only source of water in the dry months at its doorstep, Linyanti Bush Camp offers the perfect setting for an authentic and wild safari experience. The Linyanti marshes in northern Botswana sustain a huge variety of game, from lion and sable to leopard. If you’re lucky, you may also observe the rare African wild dog, elusive sitatunga and near-threatened red lechwe. Birdlife is also incredibly rich and diverse throughout the year, while great herds of elephant traverse the area surrounding this camp in their never-ending pursuit of fresh water.
Guests at Linyanti Bush Camp are accommodated in 6 spacious luxury tents, with ensuite bathrooms equipped with flush toilets and solar-powered hot water showers. There are also claw-footed open-air tubs for indulgent outdoor bathing. Spread out for peace and privacy, guest tents are linked by sandy walkways to a small outdoor pool and an atmospheric communal dining and lounge area.
Aside from productive game drives by day and after dark, Linyanti Bush Camp offers catch-and-release fishing and boat or mokoro safaris if water levels permit. Guided walks – allowed only in precious few areas in the region – and short scenic helicopter flights can also be arranged.
