Inspiring Sights of Kenya
This superb safari incorporates the popular Giraffe Manor in Nairobi and 3 luxury lodges situated in sensational gameviewing areas throughout Kenya.
Embark on an authentic Kenya safari adventure, experiencing world-class gameviewing whilst staying at some of the best camps and lodges in all of Africa. Starting in Nairobi, start with 1 night at the world-famous Giraffe Manor, getting close to the resident Rothschild Giraffe’s – who may even pop their head in through the window at breakfast!
Next, travel by light aircraft to Ol Donyo Lodge a Relais and Châteaux property in the beautiful Chyulu Hills, where huge bull tuskers still roam. Situated on an 111,000 hectare private ranch, enjoy 3 nights in a luxury suite complete with a rooftop ‘star bed’ and a private plunge-pool. Perched on the hillside, each suite has breathtaking views over the rolling plains to Mount Kilimanjaro. Explore the surrounding wilderness on guided walking safaris, game drives and mountain bikes, or alternatively visit nearby Amboseli National Park, before returning to Relais and Châteaux quality service, fine dining and wine (from the private cellar).
Wing your way to idyllic Solio Lodge in Laikipia at the foot of Mt Kenya. Set on a private 19,000-acre conservancy (surrounded by the Solio Game Reserve), Solio is recognised as a successful private rhino breeding sanctuary, and offers some of the best black and white rhino sightings in Africa.
Complete your journey at the unparalleled Mara Plains Camp, set in the impressive Olare Motorogi Conservancy – right in the heart of big cat territory. Guests staying here help contribute to the ongoing success of the Masai Mara ecosystem, as well as helping to support over 1,000 Maasai families. The Conservancy boasts one of the lowest vehicle densities in the Maasai Mara region, whilst also having some of the highest numbers of big cats anywhere in Africa. Some 300 bird species have also been recorded here. Each suite boasts splendid interiors, with deep canvas canopied ceilings, as well as a large private verandah and in-suite dining facilities.
