In the unspoilt Timbavati Private Reserve which shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park, Kings Camp faces a wide open savanna plain with a waterhole visited by an endless parade of wildlife. Surrounding this classic luxury safari lodge is 100 square kilometres of terrain exclusive to guests, ensuring that every animal encounter is a personal experience.
There are just 6 generously sized guest suites at Kings Camp plus an expansive Family Suite and two secluded Honeymoon Suites. Romantic canopied beds, claw-footed tubs and elegant wooden furniture recall an earlier, more glamorous era, whilst there are plenty of modern luxuries on hand such as air-conditioning, espresso machines, indoor and outdoor showers. Honeymoon Suites also boast personal plunge pools.
In the thatched main lodge you’ll find a magnificent dining room, lounge and library. There is also a traditional open-air ‘boma’ here to atmospheric fire-lit dinners and a large terrace which overlooks a waterhole. When you aren’t busy with gameviewing activities, visit the gym, splash in the pool or enjoy a massage at the day spa. Staff at Kings Camp can also arrange hot air ballooning and helicopter scenic flights over the landscape
