On a crest in the dramatic Ubombo mountain range, andBeyond Phinda Mountain Lodge offers breathtaking views of the wildlife-rich landscape below. The reserve surrounding this captivating property comprises of seven distinct habitats, supporting a mind blowing diversity of wildlife including cheetah, black rhino and nyala.
All of the 16 split-level guest suites at andBeyond Phinda Mountain Lodge come with enchanting vistas, with perfectly positioned viewing decks and verandas to take advantage of their beautiful settings. A private outdoor shower and personal plunge pool complete the picture. For families, there are also three large cottages and a generous suite which can sleep parents with three and four children respectively.
Guests at andBeyond Phinda Mountain Lodge have a wide range of activities to choose from. Go in search of the “Big 5” on a game drive, take a boat cruise to admire the birdlife if water levels permit or observe smaller species on foot. Village visits and conservation project tours are also possible, while turtle nesting can be observed seasonally.

If coming from Johannesburg, the most convenient way to access Phinda Mountain Lodge is to fly into Richards Bay airport. On arrival you are met and transferred by road to the lodge (approximately 2 hours).
