Getting there
Many major airlines including South African Airways, Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, Kenya Airways, Qatar, Singapore Airways and British Airways fly into Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport. There are also many regional and domestic carriers that service local cities such as Cape Town and the Kruger National Park area.
US – South African Airways fly’s directly to east coast cities including New York and Washington. Delta Airlines is another option to consider flying directly to Johannesburg from Atlanta.
UK / Europe – There are direct flights to OR Tambo International Airport with South African Airways from London-Heathrow, Frankfurt and Munich. Major European Airlines flying directly into Johannesburg include British Airways, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Lufthansa and Swiss International Airlines.

Days 1/2
Cape Town
Your South Africa experience begins with a warm welcome into an oversized luxury suite at the fully serviced African Elite Serviced Apartments close to Cape Town’s famous marina and harbour. Your options on Day 2 include a half-day city tour visiting iconic Table Mountain and the colourful Malay Quarter, or an excursion to infamous Robben Island.
Days 3-5
Grootbos Private Nature Reserve
Follow the impossibly scenic Garden Route to the sophisticated Forest Lodge, located amid fragrant fynbos vegetation on the award-winning Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. Kids can collect their own eggs for breakfast, take a 4X4 botanical tour, go on a marine safari or even ride a horse. BLD
Days 6/7
Kwandwe Private Game Reserve
Continue along the coastal road to intimate Ecca Lodge in the enormous, malaria-free Kwandwe reserve, which has child-minders, a kid-friendly interactive kitchen and a comprehensive play centre to keep little hands busy. Family Suites at this gorgeous property come with their own pool, private vehicle, ranger and tracker. BLD
