Days 1-3
Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve
Fly from Johannesburg to Skukuza Airport where you are met and transferred to the intimate Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp, comprising just 6 luxurious, contemporary guest suites surrounded by pristine wilderness where big game including lion, leopard and elephant thrive. Enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive after you’ve settled into your sumptuous suite. During the next few days, go out in the morning and evening in search of species big and small, on foot and by vehicle. Aside from exceptional wildlife, the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserves harbour outstanding birdlife. In between gameviewing activities, enjoy excellent cuisine and relax on your private deck which features a heated spa tub. LD (Day 1) / BLD (Days 2-3)
Day 4
Pretoria
Today enjoy one last game drive in this beautiful private reserve before transferring to Skukuza Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Pretoria. Overnight at the Protea Hotel or similar. B
Days 5-7
Rovos Rail
Transfer to the railway station where a gleaming Rovos Rail locomotive awaits. Be transported to another era, when trains were the ultimate way to travel. This extravagant 3-night rail adventure takes you across magnificent landscapes, from Pretoria down through South Africa to Cape Town. BLD
Days 8-10
Cape Town
On arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to the elegant Cape Grace, situated on a private quay on the city’s iconic V&A waterfront. There’s plenty of time to explore – visit Cape Point, ascend Table Mountain or tour of the colourful streets of the Malay Quarter. B
Days 11-13
Grootbos Private Nature Reserve
Drive south along the famed Garden Route to Forest Lodge in the breath-taking Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. Activity options include seeking out the Marine “Big 5” by boat, horseback riding, guided walks and seasonal land-based whale-watching. BLD
Day 14
Tour ends Cape Town
After breakfast, you are transferred back to Cape Town where your Ultimate South Africa journey concludes. B
