andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti is a sophisticated safari camp situated in the Serengeti’s remote Western Corridor, an area brimming with prolific resident game.
The campsite itself is tucked beneath evergreen forest filled with chattering colobus monkeys, with a tranquil hippo pool on its doorstep. Beyond the camp is the famous croc-infested Grumeti River, crossed by masses of zebra and wildebeest during the annual Great Migration.
Accommodation at andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti comprises of 10 tented suites, including one family unit, equipped with outdoor showers and gyms-in-a-basket. At the centre of camp is an extensive dining area and traditional African “boma” where dinners can be enjoyed under a billion stars. Large indoor and outdoor sitting areas offer a pleasant place to rest in between excursions, whilst a rim-flow swimming pool provides welcome respite from the afternoon heat.
Things to do at andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti include twice-daily game drives, hot air balloon safaris, cultural visits to nearby local communities and day trips to immense Lake Victoria.
