Singita Mara River Tented Camp is an impossibly chic safari camp on the northern banks of the Mara River in Tanzania’s famous Serengeti National Park.
This impossibly chic safari camp on the northern banks of the Mara River operates entirely off-the-grid, relying on a custom-designed solar power system and the use of recycled or natural materials. There are just 6 guest tents on the premises, 2 designed to accommodate families of up to four. There is no television, but there is a shared plunge pool and a serene day spa to fill up those hours in between game drives.
Daytime gameviewing excursions take place in shared Land Rovers and are accompanied by expert guides. The annual wildebeest migration crosses the Mara at various points, and Singita Mara’s location in the remote Lamai Triangle affords guests both excellent views of this exciting event as well as unrivalled opportunities to observe the area’s rich resident game.
Three sumptuous meals are served daily at the exquisite Singita Mara Tented Camp. There is also an extensive, award-winning cellar brimming with premium labels where connoisseurs can enjoy tastings.
