Nimali Tarangire

Small and intimate Nimali Tarangire is a hidden gem located in a private concession bordering Tarangire National Park. The camp nestles under the shade of acacia trees and offers exclusive game-viewing in the concession, far from the crowds. There are no fences between the national park and the private concession allowing wildlife to wander freely between the two areas.

An authentic camp, Nimali Tarangire consists of 10 expedition style tents, slightly raised of the ground and made of light, airy canvas. Two of the tents can be connected to accommodate families or groups for added privacy. The large stylish tents are furnished with a sense of exploration and the private decks feature comfortable camp chairs. The spacious ensuite bathrooms have rain showers and double vanity basins.

The main area houses an open-fronted lounge overlooking the swimming pool and a waterhole. Natural materials such as wood, canvas and leather are used to blend into contemporary décor for a sense of elegance and comfort. The dining area is also open-fronted, and opens up to a traditional boma and fire pit circled by comfortable chairs.

There are a plethora of activities offered at Nimali Tarangire including day and night game drives, fly and bush camping, walking safaris, community visits to local schools or Maasai cultural visits. Bush lunches and dinners or champagne breakfasts are also available, whilst balloon safaris provides a unique perspective of the land and wildlife.
