There are just 51 light-filled guestrooms at the Maru Maru Hotel. All have cool tile floors, canopied beds and plenty of space. Like the rest of the property, interiors are a charming blend of traditional and modern, while guests have access to every 21st century comfort from air-conditioning to Wi-Fi access.
On the property are three dining venues: an elegant terrace restaurant, a relaxed lounge bar and a casual courtyard cafe. Cuisine reflects Zanzibar’s exotic heritage, with continent, Chinese, Indian and Swahili meals on the menu.
