The wide variety of ecosystems you visit also provide opportunity for a wide variety of activities from game drives to walking safaris and canoeing.
This is not a group tour but a recommended sample itinerary. We can easily extend or shorten the itinerary to include more or fewer nights in an area, and can mix and match the accommodation to suit.

Getting there
The easiest way into the Zimbabwe is from the South African hub of Johannesburg. Multiple major airlines fly into the city including British Airways, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Delta Airlines, Qantas, and of course South African Airways. From Johannesburg there are regular flights to Victoria Falls, the start point for this safari. Alternatively, for an Edwardian-style, luxury rail experience, journey by Rovos Rail from Pretoria in South Africa to Victoria Falls.

Days 1-3
Hwange National Park
Fly by light aircraft from Victoria Falls to Somalisa Camp in Hwange National Park for 3 nights. Featuring 7 spacious tented rooms with stunning views of the wide plains, this luxury safari camp offers an authentic bush experience. The park’s huge herds of buffalo and elephant, and large predators such as lion, leopard and wild dog, draw visitors to this stunning wilderness. During your stay you can participate in morning and afternoon game activities and bush walks. LD (Day 1) / BLD (Days 2 & 3).
Days 4/5
Victoria Falls
Transfer by light aircraft to Victoria Falls. Your accommodation is in Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, featuring 72 contemporary air-conditioned rooms and panoramic views over the Zambezi National Park and a private waterhole attracting diverse herds of game. On Day 5 enjoy a half day tour of the falls and sunset cruise on the Zambezi River aboard the Ra-Ikane riverboat. BD/BLD
Days 6-8
Linyanti
Transfer by road to Kasane for a light aircraft flight to Linyanti Bush Camp, an intimate 12-bedded tented camp offering an authentic safari experience on the banks of the Linyanti marshes. This region features spectacular birding and wildlife viewing including lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, and is best known for its large herds of elephants. Activities include nature walks, game drives, mokoro excursions and boating. BLD
Days 9-11
Moremi Game Reserve
Transfer by light aircraft to Khwai Tented Camp situated in a community-run concession on the eastern border of the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp features 6 spacious Meru-style ensuite tents with views over a on the banks of a lagoon flowing into the Khwai River. This reserve is renowned for its vast numbers of predators, including African wild dog. Activities centre on 4WD game drives and nature walks. BLD

Tour ends Maun
Transfer by air to Maun. Tour ends. B
