Be on top of the world at Spicers Peak Lodge, Queensland’s loftiest mountain retreat.
Poised on a mountaintop overlooking the World Heritage-listed Main Range National Park and Scenic Rim, Spicers Peak Lodge is approximately two hours from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane and Gold Coast but feels like worlds away. Stargazing, spa treatments and sumptuous food and wines are de rigueur here, and the pace can be as leisurely or as active as you like. With dozens of vineyards dotting the landscape, guests can visit cellar doors or take a picnic hamper to one of the many breathtaking locations on and around this impeccable property. For exercise, take a dip in the infinity edge pool, search for native wildlife on an early morning bushwalk, jump on a mountain bike or play a game of tennis.
Awarded a Chef Hat by the 2019 Australian Good Food Guide, The Peak restaurant serves mouth-watering contemporary Australian meals. The ever-changing menu reflects the kitchen’s commitment to using only the best available seasonal ingredients.
The purpose-built Spa Anise has an equally dynamic menu – with treatments designed to meet seasonal demands, utilising an indulgent range of natural products. Popular with couples and groups, the spa has single and double treatment rooms. Bookings are highly recommended.
